ArmourDoc respects your privacy and is designed with security and privacy in mind. This general privacy policy explains how information may be handled when you use the ArmourDoc website or application.
Information we may collect. Depending on how you use ArmourDoc, we may collect account information such as your name and email address, purchase or subscription information, technical information required to operate and secure the service, and information you voluntarily provide to support.
Documents and files. ArmourDoc is designed around a zero-knowledge privacy model. Where documents are stored only locally on your device, ArmourDoc does not need to collect those files. If a cloud backup or storage feature is enabled, relevant files may be processed and stored as required to provide that feature.
Payments. Payments and purchase information may be processed by third-party payment providers. ArmourDoc does not need to store your full payment card details.
How information is used. Information may be used to provide and maintain ArmourDoc, manage accounts and subscriptions, provide customer support, improve security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Security. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
Third parties. ArmourDoc may rely on service providers for hosting, analytics, payments, authentication, communications, and other operational functions. Such providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services.
Your choices. You may contact us regarding access, correction, deletion, or questions about personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate operational requirements.

Use of the service. You agree to use ArmourDoc lawfully and not to misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or another user's account.
Your content and keys. You remain responsible for your documents, account credentials, encryption keys, and other content. Because ArmourDoc is designed around a zero-knowledge architecture, loss of credentials or keys may result in permanent loss of access to protected content.

Availability. We aim to keep ArmourDoc reliable and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued where reasonably necessary.
Security disclaimer. ArmourDoc provides security features but cannot guarantee that every device, operating system, network, account, or stored file will remain completely secure. You should maintain appropriate device security and backups where appropriate.
Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ArmourDoc and its operators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
